Editing Druid

Available with the following notes:

* As druids use divine magic, [[the Church]] grudgingly permits them. However, as they aren't really priests and don't fit into the Church's hierarchy, they are distinctly out of favor, and if they begin to gather a following, or otherwise threaten the Church structure, they will get into trouble. Many Druids prefer to keep a low profile.
* As with all non-church related spellcasters, Druids also face prejudice from the population at large. If they flaunt their animal companions or their shape-changing abilities, they are in danger of a lynching.
* The Druid weapon proficiency list is amended to the following: Staff, club, dagger, axe, short bow, longspear, shortspear, halfspear, sling, javelin, and whip.
* Under no circumstances may druids use or even carry any form of '''''worked''''' metal - it interferes with their mystical connection to the natural world. Thus, they can wear hide, leather, or padded armor (even studded leather is too much!) but a metal canteen is forbidden. Note that treasure must be in the form of gems, letters of credit, furs, gold nuggets, etc.
* As noted in the ''Player's Handbook'', any druid deviating from these restrictions will lose all druidic abilities for no less than 24 hours. Even if the druid has the skills from another class or from his race, he may not use any other weapons or wear metal armor.
* The ''Wild Shape'' ability is a little different from its description in the ''Player's Handbook'': 
** At fifth level, a druid may seek a totem animal guide by entering a sacred trance and opening himself to a vision, which lasts for 3d6 hours. The totem guide will be a creature of Small or Medium size. He then gains the ability to change his form into the form of this totem animal guide, as per the rules for polymorph. There is no disorientation associated with ''Wild Shape''.
** At sixth and seventh level, the druid may seek another vision, and gain another totem guide. This will allow him to add another Small or Medium sized animal to his list of forms. 
** Again at eighth level, he may enter the trance, and seek another guide, but this one may be of Small, Medium, or Large size.
** At 11th level, he gains another guide, and this may be of any size from Tiny to Large.
** At 12th level, the sacred trance leads him not to another totem, but gives him additional insight into one of his previous guides. This allows him to add the Dire modifier to one of his forms, as listed in the Monster Manual.
** At 15th level, the vision will last for 6d6 hours, and will give him the ability to add a new totem of any size from Tiny to Huge to his list of possibilities.
** At sixth level, the Druid attains the pinnacle of enlightenment, and after a trance lasting 12d6 hours, gains a new totem guide associated with one of the four elements (Air, Earth, Fire, Water). He may then change into a Small, Medium or Large-size elemental of that type, as per the spell ''Shapechange''. The size is chosen at the moment of the change.
** At fifth level, the druid may use the ''Wild Shape'' ability once per day (that is one shift into an animal form and one shift back, either at the end of the duration or at will). The druid gains one additional use of the ability at the following levels: sixth, seventh, tenth, 14th and 18th level, for a total of 6/day at 18th level. 
** The elemental ability may be used once/day beginning at 16th level, and increases to 3/day at 18th level.
** The Wild feats from ''Complete Divine'' can modify many aspects of the ''Wild Shape'' ability, and are available to characters that meet the requirements.
