A couple or a hundred generations ago, one of the character's ancestors was a celestial being - an angel, if you will. Any one, be it of humble or noble birth, can give birth to a blessed, but they will all share the same basic traits. In a blessed, the blood runs true.

; Appearance: The Blessed are generally gloriously beautiful humanoids, with golden, silver or white hair, fair skin, and piercing eyes. They always show some obvious sign of their lineage - green skin, glowing halo, feline lower bodies, or even vestigial wings (feel free to improvise). They also carry some of their mortal heritage, as well, and are often mistaken for really imposing humans.
; Alignment: The Blessed, because of their heritage, tend strongly towards good, although there have been a few who broke that mold.
; Language: The Blessed speak Common.
; Attitude: The Blessed are bold, confident, and brave. They may take up adventuring in search of a greater destiny, one that they have been raised to expect, for a Blessed character believes that she is a special person. Other Blessed might take to questing in order to protect her community or Church from the minions of evil.

==Racial Traits==
* The Blessed are level +1 characters - this means that a Blessed with one class level is treated as a second level character.
* +2 Wisdom, +2 Charisma. The Blessed possess keen perceptions of other people and the world around them, and tend to have strong personalities. 
* Medium Size: The Blessed are medium sized. They have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
* The Blessed base speed is 30 feet.
* As Crescent is their home plane, they can be raised or resurrected normally
* +2 racial bonus to all Listen and Spot Checks: The Blessed possess extremely keen senses. 
* Acid, Cold and Electricity resistance: 5. Due to their unique heritage, The Blessed have exceptional resistance to harm.
* Spell-Like Powers: Once per day, a Blessed can cast ''light'' as a [[cleric]] of his level.
* Favored Class: [[Paladin]]
