==Sound and Fury== It's the Night of the Moon in the land of Crescent. In this starless land you can hear the moans of the walking dead, looking for the rest they have not earned. In this unholy darkness a group of adventures roams. The undead may not have earned their rest, but this night, it will be given to them, free of charge. With a chant and a flash, a small band disappears, disintegrated by the power of the mighty [[Pelor]]. In the dark a shadow lurks. She quickly appears and another undead falls...she is shadow once more. The sound of steel ringing is be heard, and fire crackles as the mighty paladin buries his burning blade of [[Pelor]] in the bones of an abomination. As it falls to dust, arrows rain rapidly from the sky overhead. Two more fall, never to stir again. A man flashes all around them, his hands so fast they can hardly be seen. With the thud of his fists on their rotting bodies, another two fall, broken and bent. Their unholy and unnatural lives spent. Finally, the flame of a soul afire, burning with arcane power, flashes out to engulf the dead, and send them back where they belong. The light fades, revealing the face of a elven woman, with a world-weary glint to her eyes. When the dust settles, the living are all that remain. Each looks at the others, knowing this was a job well done. The night is quiet once more.
