The bow known as Luz Solare was created as a point of light in a growing darkness. In the days before the [[Scarlet War]], Pandarial, an [[elf|elven]] [[Hunter of the Dead|undead hunter]], was granted a vision of time to come, and what he saw chilled his heart: legions of undead, marching across a pastoral land, turning it to wasteland with their every step. When he awoke from his vision, Pandarial set about creating a weapon that could be used to combat the coming darkness.

When the dark days came at last, and [[Shinn the Sorcerer]] called forth his [[Dark Tide Rising|legions of the dead]], Pandarial stood beside [[Carline Bright-Eyes]], surrounded by the greatest heroes of their time, and held forth '''Luz Solare, the Beacon of Light'''.
