Since the return of the mages to the [[Jade Tower]], and the rise of the [[Jade Imperium]], a small community has formed in the shadow of the Tower.  Known as Everlight, this village is home to refugees, aristocrats, artists, poets, and madmen.

It's also the birthplace of the [[Arcane Herald]], the world's first newspaper.  Made possible by a prototype printing press from [[Luminaux]]'s  [[Barnabus and Nobble, Gnomish Book Printers]], this rag reports on current events, national news, and society.

Everlight is also the home to [[Perrin Forester]] and his family, and has one of the locations of the [[Athenaeum for Spiritual Harmony]].
