Editing Plains

The southwest is the home of the humans. Their land is mostly fertile plain, with a small desert to the east and lots of coastal area. The Humans, typically, have numerous small cities. 

The biggest city is known as [[Maxaen]], a military-run city on the coast across from the [[Shattered Isles]]. 

Smaller but notable cities include: 

* [[Velora]], which lies at the crossing of several major trade routes, at the border between the plains and the forest.
* [[Wild's Reef]], at the edge of the sea.  Listed with the [[Island of Lost Souls]] because the two are very closely linked in the minds of the [[:Category:People|people]] of Crescent.
* [[St. Kerwyn]]: roughly halfway between Velora and Maxean, this merchant town also marks the origin of the [[Southern Highway]] leading east into the desert and towards [[Hotempa]].
* [[Luzern]], the home of the Order of the [[Legacy of the Mind and Heart]].
