Editing Tiefling

Much like the [[Aasimar]], members of this race have an ancestor of otherworldly descent. In the case of Tieflings, though, theirs is the blood of the damned - those mortals who were so evil, or so closely associated with the shadow world, as to become part of the darkness themselves. As with Aasimar, any one of the major races can give birth to a Tainted, but they will all share the same basic traits. In Tiefling, the blood tells.

Note please that Tieflings will likely face a lot of social prejudice when interacting with people in the world.

; Appearance: No two Tiefling look the same. Most carry with them an indefinable aura that mortals tend to find somewhat disturbing. Others have small horns, pointed teeth, red eyes, an independent shadow, or even cloven feet (again, feel free to improvise). They also carry some of their mortal heritage, as well, so the player must decide to which race the character was born.
; Alignment: Tiefling, because of their heritage, tend strongly towards evil or chaos, although there have been a few who broke that mold.
; Attitude: In Crescent, Tieflings tend to keep a low profile, and often take up adventuring careers as thieves, assassins, spies, and mercenaries. They are, however, supremely confident in their own abilities.
