Editing Valanthe Amakiir

Lord Marshal and leader of the Army of the Sun in the time of the [[Scarlet War]]. A passionate man with possible [[The Blessed|celestial heritage]], and believer in the ascendancy of [[Pelor]], Amakiir masterminded the destruction of the defenses of the [[Jade Tower]]. Though formally a member of the Order of [[the Sword of Malicean]], he also received [[Cleric|clerical]] training and was a potent channeler.  

Amamkiir went mad as a result of the channeling of too much divinity, when he brought down the defenses of the Jade Tower.  See [[Red Day Dawning]] for more details.

Amakiir also broke with tradition by choosing not to bear [[Faithbrand]] in a time of war, passing it instead to his second-in-command, [[Carline Bright-Eyes]], who led the forces on the Plain of Jade.
