Social and Political Groups[edit]

These are some of the major organizations to which people in society belongs. As the social structure in Crescent is very stratified, belonging to one of these orders usually lends some level of prestige or respect to the character. It has other benefits, as well:

  • Members of a guild or order can expect a basic level of hospitality from any other member, and any member of an affiliated group.
  • They often get better prices from related guilds for services and commodities.
  • Further, they can expect help in times of crisis.

These benefits, though, do not come without a price - the guild or order to which a character claims membership can also be held accountable for their actions - and will often hold a character responsible in return.
