The 51

Fifty-one Master Wizards volunteered to give their lives for the safety of the rest of the College of Mages, at the end of the Scarlet War. Granted sainthood in the newly-founded Jade Imperium, and considered the blackest of villains by the Nation of Crescent, these martyrs, as a group, stand as some of the bravest souls in history. Along with the Host of Yanseldra, they are celebrated by the Imperium on the holiday Sacrifice, on 12 Remembrance.

Most people of Crescent only know them as "the Wizards", while within the Imperium they are known as "the 51".
