The Pyre of Heroes, the Amulet of Fire, is in the possession of Sir Nigel IronFaith.
Appearance[edit]
A circular disk of pale red crystal, with a faintly-etched flame pattern. It is mounted in a circle of shiny adamantine and hangs from a finely-wrought adamantine chain.
Side Effects[edit]
The Amulet of Fire smoulders with heat, occasionally lighting nearby objects on fire. It does 1d6 fire damage, per round, to anyone making contact with it. It also allows its wearer to use the spell fire shield once per day (warm shield only).
History[edit]
Sir Nigel IronFaith is the current holder of this relic. Prior to that, it was in the possession of a being claiming to be the legendary Amber Dragon, a famous elementalist.
