Rivver's wife died just before the adventure began, murdered by her cousin, Sirid, who lived with them. Sirid was killed and burned after he was found to be pseudo-undead and the force behind the growing evil in the area. Rivver now lives alone, assisted by his manservant, Astrin.

Sadly, in the process, it was discovered that Sirid, or perhaps one of their ancestors, had also infected Rivver's wife, as her corpse, lying in state, burst into flames when the Ebon Heart was destroyed.


[[House Sunglimmer]] is in negotiation to purchase a large vineyard in the foothills of St. Kerwyn from him.
