Rivver Caine

A merchant in the river-side trading town of St. Kerwyn, mainly supplying provisions to travelers along the Southern Highway. Wealthy. His manor was the site of the Companions adventure, Ebon Heart.

Rivver's wife died just before the adventure began, murdered by her cousin, Sirid, who lived with them. Sirid was killed and burned after he was found to be pseudo-undead and the force behind the growing evil in the area. Sadly, in the process, it was discovered that Sirid, or perhaps one of their ancestors, had also infected Rivver's wife, as her corpse, lying in state, burst into flames when the Ebon Heart was destroyed.

Rivver now lives alone, assisted by his manservant, Astrin.

House Sunglimmer purchased a large vineyard in the foothills of St. Kerwyn from House Caine some years ago, and has since absorbed them as an affiliate house.
