Kobolds are small, scaly reptilian creatures, who typically live underground.  They are the traditional enemy of gnomes, and compete for much of the same territory.  They also believe fervently that they are the descendants of dragons, and that this gives them their connection with the mystical.

Kobolds are small, scaly reptilian creatures, who typically live underground. They are the traditional enemy of gnomes, and compete for much of the same territory. They also believe fervently that they are the descendants of dragons, and that this gives them their connection with the mystical.

Kobolds are an unlikely race to play, but possible, particularly if you want to play a wizard that's unaffiliated with the Jade Tower.
