The College of Mages is the academic arm of the Jade Imperium - arguably the most powerful group of arcanists and spellcasters in the world of Crescent. Resident in the Jade Tower, they teach and research arcane magic in nearly all its forms.

History[edit]

Until recently, the College of Mages was believed crushed beyond recovery as a result of the Scarlet War. Although a few mages occasionally cropped up after that point, it seemed that the great days of Arcane magic were gone.

The Jade Tower stood vacant, filled only with forgotten dreams of power and glory - and, of course, relics of their days in the sun.

It is now quite apparent that the College is back to full operation.
