The holy sword of [[Malicean]], this bronze bastard sword is traditionally carried by the Lord Marshal, though not all of them have been able to use it to its full potential. Legend says that, since the death of Malicean, only [[Carline Bright-Eyes]] has unlocked all its secrets and truly deserved the title of [[Scion]] of Faithbrand.


Of the three holy relics of Malicean, his standard, his armor, and his sword, only Faithbrand remains in the possession of [[the Church]], the others having been lost in the destruction of the Holy Temple at [[Mt Daneasus]].
