The Holy Order to which Clerics of Pelor belong. This is, by numbers, the biggest of the three Sacred Orders, although they don't have as much political clout as the Order of the Sword of Malicean does.

This order calls the Spire home.

Unlike the Sword, this order has multiple sub-groups. An important one, based out of Maxaen, was the Order of the Merciful Light, which was led by Dame Aelen Wyer. However, since Wyer's ascension as the Avatar of Nevari, that group has withdrawn their membership from the Shield and reconsecrated themselves as acolytes of Nevari.
