Lord Marshal and leader of the Army of the Sun in the time of the Scarlet War. A passionate man with possible celestial heritage, and believer in the ascendancy of Pelor, Amakiir masterminded the destruction of the defenses of the Jade Tower. Though formally a member of the Order of the Sword of Malicean, he also received clerical training and was a potent channeler.
Amamkiir went mad as a result of the channeling of too much divinity, when he brought down the defenses of the Jade Tower. See Red Day Dawning for more details.
Amakiir also broke with tradition by choosing not to bear Faithbrand in a time of war, passing it instead to his second-in-command, Carline Bright-Eyes, who led the forces on the Plain of Jade.
