A glowing beacon in the waters of the Sea of Shadows, the Spire is more than a temple or cathedral - it is a city-sized labyrinth of buildings, towers, spires, and edifices, towering thousands of feet into the air. A city of the divine and the mundane, you can hop aboard a skycoach and hurl yourself into adventure amid the soaring towers, or plunge into perilous aerial battles miles above the earth. Adventurers, or the incautious, embark on deadly expeditions through the bowels of the city, or arrange clandestine meetings in shadowy taverns. For those bold enough to seek it, the City of Towers promises limitless excitement, danger, fame, and fortune.

The Spire is visible as a sliver of white light on the horizon from anywhere on the continent of Crescent, and for a great distance out to sea. It is the primary reference point for navigators.
