Regina is a businesswoman, a trouble-shooter who handles special assignments for House Sunglimmer. Her role often requires her to skirt or creatively interpret the laws of Crescent, at which she is quite capably skilled. She joined the Companions of the Rising Sun when they helped investigate the Wreck of the Venerable Drake in exchange for support from House Sunglimmer.

Following the recent attack on the House, Regina was promoted to the rank of Master Trader.

Physical Description

Regina has a slender build and fair muscle tone. She is not, however, particularly strong and has little muscle distinction.

Notable features

When intensely focused or emotionally charged, her eyes flash a bright shade of green.

Appearance

Regina virtually never leaves her home without wearing her glamour studded leather armor. In town, she typically manifests it as light brown leather pants and a cream colored long sleeve blouse. She usually wears a brown vest bearing the Sunglimmer crest. The vest is lined with thin boning which conveniently disguises the sleeves for her wands and thieves tools. Whenever she stops for more than a few minutes, she gradually adjusts the colors (and possibly cut) of her ‘clothes’ to more closely match her surroundings, especially inside.

At her waist hangs a small pouch, containing coins. She also carries an ornate dagger and often her short sword, Finepointe.

For field/traveling, she manifests in standard traveling leathers top and bottom. She typically carries a moderate backpack that contains her traveling gear (sm. Bedroll, torches, tinder kit, etc.). She also carries her sling and stones in a large pouch at her waist and always has the sword on.

Mannerisms

She moves with exceptional grace and balance, almost appearing to glide with each step. It is virtually unheard of for her to trip, stumble, or otherwise misstep. Her movements tend to be quick and sure. She is nimble, both of foot and finger, and her hand movements can be hard to follow when she desires.

She tends to stand in or near shadows and backgrounds similar to her light appearance. If not actively looking for/at her, many people do not even notice her presence, she merely blends into the background and crowd, unless she wants to stand out. Her boots are soft-soled and she steps carefully and lightly, making very little noise with each footstep. She also tends to keep her back to a wall or turn frequently, always aware of what (who) is around her. She subconsciously adjusts her position in a group or room to avoid having the largest or toughest-looking people on opposite sides of her when possible.

If not actively & urgently moving point to point, she will give a copper coin or two to any begger or potential pickpocket in towns. She does so with a bit of sleight of hand that strongly suggests that she knows who/what they are and that trying to pilfer HER would be a very bad idea… (Treat as -1sp/day in large cities)

Her eyes are always active. She constantly watches for nearby exits and potential traps, dead ends, or other physical risks. She is also always watching and appraising the people around her, trying to predict threats (physical and legal), marks, and potential allies.

She is also typically fairly quiet, only speaking if she has something to say or in response to a question. This learned response has helped her pick up more information from those around her. She is an active listener, engaging the speaker and encouraging him/her to elaborate and continue.

Relationships

Regina works directly for Lady Dara Sunglimmer, principle and matriarch, of the merchant House of Sunglimmer. She sees Lady Dara as a mentor and patron.

She has no known blood relatives or romantic involvements.
