Words of Creation are powerful High Magic -- they are derived from the language that was used to literally create the world of Crescent. To speak of something in that language it to bring it forth into the world.
It is not a language that can be learned; instead, very rarely, a mortal being may be gifted a single word, to use to make something powerful or large in scale.
It is known that Pandarial used a Word to create the artifact bow Luz Solare, and that Sir Nigel IronFaith used one to restore the town of Luzern after the depredations of the Bone Lord.
It's been speculated that Daedelus Matchpocket used one to create the first SoulForged.
