According to [[Red Day Dawning|historical records]], Leedra Black was one of the only Master Wizards to be stilled but not executed by the High Tribunal called after the fall of the [[Jade Tower]].  She committed suicide in her cell, not hours after her power was burned from her.
If the account of the [[Amber Dragon]], he claims that there were 51 Master Wizards who volunteered for service, as a diversion while the rest escaped.  If that is true, then Leedra Black was a volunteer, and a hero to the Arcanists.
