An adventuring party founded in Sun-year 371, the Company of the Lamp was a shining beacon of heroism and righteousness, inspiring many ballads and stories. Their company was disbanded after suffering heavy casualties when they clashed with and took down Va'aster DarkLight, in the Year of the Sun 377.

The last remaining member of the Company of the Lamp, Elan HeartStorm, an Elf of the Order of the Shield of Revelation died in the Year of the Sun 421.
