Mask and Scroll

Headquartered in Luminaux, this is a catchall guild for performers of all types. Acrobats, Bards, and other performers are often members. One of the benefits of membership is that the guild has negotiated discounts with some merchants and craftsmen of musical instruments and other performer supplies.

There is a strenuous audition for membership.

Bard

Available as described in Player’s Handbook, with the following notes:

• In a small departure from the rules as written, bards utilize Divine magic rather than arcane. In all other respects, their magic works as described.
• Note that the class feature Bardic Knowledge is modified as so: A bard's class level is added as a bonus to skill checks for Knowledge (History & Legends). If a bard has no ranks in Knowledge (History and Legends), he may still make a check using his Int Bonus and class level.
• Bards are particularly drawn to the Elvin City of Luminaux, renowned as a city of music, art, and culture.

Virtuoso

Another bard variant, this is one that concentrates the most on performance skills and powers. This class is where you find your classic stage diva or over-egotistical actor/singer/celeb.

• The Spells Requirement of first Arcane Caster Level is changed to first Divine caster level.
• Members of this class are typically found in the upper echelons of Mask & Scroll, the performer's guild. There, they teach, perform, and hold positions of authority.
• Although most of the members of the Order of the Voice of Harmony belong to the Divine Voice prestige class, some are members of this class instead, or in addition.
