The following shall be considered the 10 Commandments of Gaming in Crescent. Read them. Love them. Live them. That is all.
- Thou shalt know what thou wantest to do in combat before thine turn.
- Thou shalt roll all thy dice at the same time. If thou don't have enough dice, thou shalt buy or borrow enough to accomplish this feate. (Criticals are an exception).
- If thou canst not accomplish these two things, thou shalt forfiet thine turn, or holdest thine action until thou canst.
- Thou shalt show up on time.
- Thou shalt have eaten lunch already, or have thine food in a paper sack.
- Dinner shalt be take out, unless cooking beist required to appease the spouse of thy host.
- Thou shalt not sidetrake yon adventure with an item of interest to only some of thy party.
- Discussions of ways to proceed, be it to solve puzzles or interact with NPCs shalt occur in real time - if thy puzzle hast a timer, or the NPC hath limited patience, and thou shalt exceed the time alloted, bad stuff shalt happeneth. The DM hath a stopwatch, and shalt use it.
- Thou shalt not drinketh thyself into a stupor, lest the DM decree bad stuff shalt happeneth to thine character.
- If thy be bad at maths, thou shalt write or find a spreadsheet or other electronic tool to calculate thine bonuses for you.
