- In a small departure from the rules as written, bards utilize Divine magic rather than arcane. In all other respects, their magic works as described.
- Note that the class feature Bardic Knowledge is modified as so: A bard's class level is added as a bonus to skill checks for Knowledge (History & Legends). If a bard has no ranks in Knowledge (History and Legends), he may still make a check using his Int Bonus and class level.
- Bards are particularly drawn to the Elvin City of Luminaux, renowned as a city of music, art, and culture and home of the performer's guild Mask and Scroll.
