Kimo was once a member of the Order of the Fist of Reverence, but severed that tie when he joined the Order of the Light of Pelor. He is also a member of the Knights of the Sun, having been knighted by Councilmember Veritas Bookworm III. He co-founded the Order of the Legacy of the Mind and Heart with Sir Nigel IronFaith.

Kimo is cousin to Sir Jericho Templar on his father's side, and distantly related to Perrin Forester.
