Paladins are the holy warriors of the gods.

Class Notes

This character class is available with the following notes: Paladins may choose any of the fighting styles listed in the Player's Handbook, or in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. Different fighting styles may call for different schooling. For example, the Temple of the Guiding Light is where most Paladins of Pelor who wish fight with the duelist style go to train.

  • A paladin who ceases to be follow his alignment, who willfully commits an act contrary to their alignment, or who grossly violates their code of conduct, loses all abilities, spells, and benefits. It may be possible for them to atone for their crimes and regain the abilities, as determined by their superiors.
  • Note that the process of atoning is often fatal, as it usually involves dangerous and solo quests. Additionally, a penitent who dies in the process of atoning is considered dishonored, as it is obvious that they did not have the holy strength to complete his mission, and their name is permanently struck from the roster of their order.
