Human

Humans are the dominant race in Crescent. They control the plains and most of the desert, as well as having strong presences in most of the other areas. They are also the primary farmers of the world, and hence feed the rest of the nation.

Naming Conventions

Human family names are very recognizable to our modern, British-descended eye, as they are usually place or trade names. First names are frequently reused within families, often every generation. Human women typically take their husband's family name, children their father's.
