House Sunglimmer

One of the major merchant houses based in Luminaux, House Sunglimmer focuses on luxury goods and information. The principle for the past 200 years or so is Lady Dara Sunglimmer, although the house existed for generations before her.

Several months ago, the House suffered a major physical attack from forces unknown. Suspicion has fallen on a few of the rival merchant houses, but they deny any involvement and no evidence against them has surfaced. The day of the attacks, Lady Dara disappeared but is believed to be in hiding rather than the victim of foul play. The House has been surprisingly capable in continuing to do business under the guidance of its longstanding majordomo, Cordin.

Recently, Lady Dara resurfaced and resumed day-to-day control of the House. She is reportedly more reserved and aloof than before her disappearance, about which she does not speak. All suspicion and investigation of other major Houses has been suspended; Lady Dara dismisses any inquiry about the earlier attack as a historical non-issue.
