College of Mages

The College of Mages was crushed beyond recovery as a result of the Scarlet War. Although a few mages have occasionally cropped up since then, it would seem that the great days of Arcane magic are gone.

The Jade Tower stands vacant, filled only with forgotten dreams of power and glory - and, of course, relics of their heresy.

Mage of the Arcane Order

Once the leaders of the College of Mages were members of this class, but fell from power at the end of the Scarlet War. In their heyday, they had the ability to tap into a giant reserve of mystic power.

• The Arcane Order, also known as the College of Mages, was irrevocably destroyed with the execution of Davilan the Scribe. See the Historical Timeline for more details
• The Jade Tower, headquarters for the Arcane Order, was also the storage place for the Spellpool, which was a reserve of mystic energy that the Mages could tap at will. It was emptied, for the first and last time, when the Mages destroyed the Holy Temple at Mt. Daneasus.
