Pyre of Heroes

The Pyre of Heroes, the Amulet of Fire, is in the possession of Nigel StoneVault.

Appearance

A circular disk of pale red crystal, with a faintly-etched flame pattern. It is mounted in a circle of shiny adamantine and hangs from a finely-wrought adamantine chain.

Side Effects

The Amulet of Fire smoulders with heat, occasionally lighting nearby objects on fire. It does 1d6 fire damage, per round, to anyone making contact with it. It also allows its wearer to use the spell fire shield once per day (warm shield only).

History

Nigel StoneVault has been in possession of this relic for only a few weeks. Prior to that, it was in the possession of a being claiming to be the legendary Amber Dragon, a famous elementalist.
