Archmagi of the Arcane Order
Class Notes
Once the leaders of the College of Mages were known as the Archmagi, but fell from power at the end of the Scarlet War. In their heyday, they had the ability to tap into a giant reserve of mystic power.
- The College of Mages, along with its membership, was believed irrevocably destroyed with the execution of Davilan the Scribe. See the Historical Timeline for more details. As of 15 Harmony, 1337, this no longer appears to be the case.
- The Jade Tower, headquarters for the Arcane Order, is also the storage place for the Spellpool, a reserve of mystic energy that the Archmagi can apparently tap at will. It was emptied when the Archmagi caused the Holy Temple at Mt. Daneasus to disappear, moved forward in time some 300 years. It refilled, tapping the power of the ley lines on which the Tower is situated, but was again mostly emptied when the Companions of the Rising Sun used its power to restore the Temple to current time.
