- Gods
- Currently, clerics may serve one of the following gods: ORB, Mehana, Nevari, or Crustan.
- It might be possible to be a cleric of the remaining three gods (Phealas, Telemore, and Bak-Ta-Thut), but they currently have no clergy or church structure. DM's discretion.
- All clerics must serve a god; there are no unaligned clerics in Crescent.
- Clerics who forsake their god lose all spell casting abilities and the ability to turn/rebuke Undead, until they atone and come back to the fold. Even so, the god often punishes them for their inconstancy.
- See the individual god pages for more information on their clergy, including available domains and alignments.
- Variants
- Depending upon the god followed, clerics may be created according to either the PHB rules, or the rules for Cloistered Clerics, or the rules for Spontaneous Divine Casters.
- In the event the god gives access to more than one variant, the path must chosen at first cleric level and may not be changed thereafter.
- Multiclassing
- Clerics may freely multiclass, as long as they are still faithful to their god and remember their role as priests (and still pay their tithe!)
- Turn Undead
- The mechanics for the class power Turn Undead have been significantly revised; please see the appropriate page for more details.
