Plains

The southwest is the home of the humans. Their land is mostly fertile plain, with a small desert to the east and lots of coastal area. The Humans, typically, have numerous small cities. The biggest, known as Maxaen, is a military-run city on the coast across from the Star Islands. Also prominent is Velora, which lies at the crossing of several major trade routes, at the border between the plains and the forest.

Also notable is the presence of Hotempa, the last civilized city before the true desert begins, and the Desert Beetle Inn, an oasis along the old Southern Highway.
