A narrow, rocky pass at the end of the Southern Highway in the Iron Hills, this pass is characterized chiefly by the stone hand looming over the trail.

A great stone hand, clawing at the sky, as if grasping for something lost or stolen.

- Duram Gangi, Wanderings

The appearance of the hand itself is something of an optical illusion, as some people see it as somewhat small and very close, while others are certain that it is massive and very far away. The mist in the pass seems to make it difficult to tell.

No one is certain who carved the hand, or how, or when.

The companions passed through this location on the Trek to Haven .
