Southern Highway

Stretching across the plains and desert, this highway belongs to an older age. No one knows who built it, or why, or of what type of stone it is made. Faint abjuration magic, identifiable as neither divine nor arcane, runs the length of it, and seems to keep it from being buried in sand.

It begins in the river city of St. Kerwyn, stretches southeast to Hotempa, at the edge of the desert, then turns east to make its way across the desert, past the Desert Beetle Inn, and into the Iron Hills. Though most maps show it simply running into the hills and then stopping, the Companions of the Rising Sun recently discovered that the city of Haven lies at the eastern end of it.
