Plains

The southwest is the home of the humans. Their land is mostly fertile plain, with a small desert to the east and lots of coastal area. The Humans, typically, have numerous small cities.

The biggest city is known as Maxaen, a military-run city on the coast across from the Shattered Isles.

Smaller but notable cities include:

• Velora, which lies at the crossing of several major trade routes, at the border between the plains and the forest.
• Wild's Reef, at the edge of the sea. Listed with the Island of Lost Souls because the two are very closely linked in the minds of the people of Crescent.
• St. Kerwyn: roughly halfway between Velora and Maxean, this merchant town also marks the origin of the Southern Highway leading east into the desert and towards Hotempa.
• Luzern, the home of the Order of the Legacy of the Mind and Heart.
