The largest oasis on the Southern Highway, this Inn was once the domain of Malloc, a cruel slaver. He was laid low by the Companions of the Rising Sun, during the adventure Trek to Haven -- The Lash of Malloc, and the ownership of the Inn passed into the hands of Malloc's former slave girls. Management is secretly overseen by the al'Hamzah, for a small percentage.

A spring outside the walls of the Inn displays the following inscription on the rock above it:

And to the thirsty, I give this spring, in the name of the Beast. So long as my seasons reign, shall this water flow.

Examination of the spring now reveals that the water level is significantly higher now than in the past, and a faint aura of divine conjuration magic.

The Desert Beetle is considered the last bastion of "civilization" in the waste, and most merchant caravans stop there, trade with the nomads and the desert people for spices and desert textiles, then turn around and head back to Hotempa and St. Kerwyn.
