Uriel Lochevsky

From Jade Tower

Saint Uriel, the Composer, and consort of the Archangel Hagar. Uriel composed the Magnificat, a musical work of surpassing beauty and difficulty. Equal parts love song and High Mass, it was originally composed as a gift to Hagar, who had spurned the love of the mortal Lochevsky. Legend says that Pelor interceded directly with Hagar, ordering her to perform the soprano part of the duet opposite the Composer. The legend goes on to say that such was the beauty of his music that she was captivated by it, and at the end of the vocal symphony, she ascended back into the heavens with him in her arms, forever united.
